PALC tracked nearly 433 bills on the state level (including in Washington, D.C.) and 14 federal
bills. Of those, 80 passed, and the rest either failed, are pending, or are being reintroduced.
Instead of only looking at the bills that passed, we chose to focus on all that was tracked to gain
a better general understanding of what police associations and their allies are prioritizing.
